Osama Dead, Not Everyone Happy

It's a great day. Osama Bin Laden is dead, and that makes me happy. I don't believe in hell, but for his sake, I hope I'm wrong.

Of course, some people aren't thrilled about this, probably because they fear Osama's fate will be their own one day. Hamas, for instance. How we'll be able to talk to a Palestinian government that includes them, I have no idea.

  1. Fantastic news: in old frontier style the US practically took a wrecking ball to two countries to find an old man on a ‘Wanted!’ poster. Now they’ve finally ‘smoked him out!’

Except… it changes nothing of course. Good for Obama’s ratings for a week or so but that’s about it.

Hamas? Please kill each and every one of them. Then Israel will stop settling, no? No, of course not.

Let me also remind you that the US once very actively supported this man and his organisation. What a bunch of cretins runs ‘the leader of the free world’!

  2. I'm glad Bin Laden was killed because he deserved it, not because I think it changes anything.
